I remember her and her kids sitting in the box cheering the Steelers on. She felt the losses as much as her husband. I am sure he was hard to live with after losses especially in the playoffs. Thank goodness she got to witness the thrill of Super Bowl XL. I lost my mother to cancer at 55 and my wife died at 52 from blood clot related problems. I understand the pain associated with losing a spouse who is so young. Time heals but the first days are terrible for the spouse and the kids. RIP Kay. You will be missed by all of your loved ones.

And the newest member of the forums joins you in your sympathies for the Cowher family. Mom told me she had passed and I was in shock. Why is it that all the bad things happen to good people? I'll never quite understand that.
